Study On The System Construction Of Changlong Electric Company

At its early stage, Changlong Electric Company developed rapidly relying on "some relationships, some ideas, some technologies, some courage, and some markets". With the growth of sales volume, the extension of enterprise scale, the increase of staff, and the intensified competition, a series of problems and contradictions in its management show up and make the company struggle in the business development.There’re several reasons causing the current status of Changlong. The most important one is the development of the enterprise system falls far behind the extension of the enterprise scale and increase of the staff, and the system cannot provide effective support for the development of enterprise.There’re many problems in the establishment of the enterprise system of Changlong Electric Company. The system is not completed. The system files are neither consistent nor coordinated. They are not managed clearly by layer or by category. The usefulness of the files is rather poor. The strategy management system is not clear. The system of organization management and human resources management are disordered. The financial management and marketing management systems are not completed. The production management system is not strict. The R&D and innovation management system is far from perfect, and so on.There are also certain problems in system implementation. The applicability of work flow system is poor. The implementations between the different departments differ a lot. The human resource cannot meet the requirement of an effective implementation of the system, due to staff turnover and problems in training. Particularly, the leaders of the company damage the system more seriously. Generally, implementation of the system is poor.Based on the analysis, it is recommended that the government and the industry associations strengthen the foundational construction of the enterprise system and create a good social environment for the system establishment of SMEs. It’s suggested that the enterprises fully utilize external resources to build up management systems. For Changlong Electric Company, it’s proposed to carry out the following measures:to lay solid foundation for the enterprise system construction, to enhance the strategy management, to develop good organization building management system, to further improve the marketing management system, and to strengthen the financial management system. Besides, it’s suggested the Changlong Electric Company to improve the implementation capacity, by applying effective management tools and introducing necessary automation and informatization equipment as well as management system, and by increasing the training of leader of workshops and groups and the involvement of employees.
