Modern society is in an increasingly competitive market and the customers’needs are more and more complex.. And the manufacturing industry companies are all facing kinds of problems. Like how to improve productions’ flexibility to meet more customers’ needs, or like how to control the inventory while ensure normal production conditions, or how to deal with logistics to help the assemble production smooth and efficiently. These problems are becoming common problems.Company A is an ATO corporation and the goods sell very well. Now there are so many order on hand that haven’t finished. The customers’ satisfactory is decreasing because of the reachability is very hard. So the main problem of Company A is how to increase production capacity to make the time between the orders and goods delivery shorter. This paper tells Company A’s production characteristics and operating status, and analyze the problem and reason both in warehousing and factory logistics. Then we give the targeted solutions for the problems.About the warehousing, we optimize the situation from the process of material into storage, material layout and material redistribution and try to get company’s warehousing improved. As to the inventory control of Company A, considering the production method we use the Schedule Agreement to get accurate forecast of customers’demand. For domestic parts suppliers, there’ve been already some trends to the VMI system for the supplier to decide Company A’s warehouse level. Finally, we try to use the kanban of pull production system to control the inventory during the production process, which can also speed up the flow of material. Then we consider the production process and calculate the total quantity of kanban needed in the production line. After all, we use the mathematical model to figure out the distribution time intervals of materials cycle.
