Lean production management arose with the change of world’s industrialproduction ways. With the help of method of JIT, equalization, total qualitymanagement, etc, lean production management minimize the cost of businessmanagement and operation to enable those enterprises to enhance their own resilienceand increase economic efficiency. The implementation is turned to be the magicweapon for modern enterprise.Lean production management has lots of tools, but it should be combined withtheir enterprises’ own characteristics in the specific practice. Only copying others willmake the firms in a passive status. After reading lots of literature, this thesis deeplyunderstands the historical background and basic approach of lean productionmanagement and systematically summarizes the contents of lean production. In thetheoretical section, it analyzes the domestic and foreign research of lean productionmanagement and describes the important purpose of the implementation andapplication of lean production ways for domestic and foreign enterprises. On the basisof absorbing the related research and practical results, this thesis has research on leanproduction management of textile industry.This thesis focuses more on the combination of theory and practice, and itresearches the implementation of JT’s lean production management. It brieflyintroduces JT’s background and organizational structure first, and then focuses moreon problems which arise in the production process and the way to solve those problems.Based on the investigation and practice in JT Company, the data which collect in theprocess of production, the analysis of data, the methods of lean productionmanagement and the combination of the real situation in JT Company, it proposes theidea to implement lean production management. According to the analysis methodwhich combines quality and quantity, it provides countermeasures of implementation of lean production management from three different aspects which refer to the designof organizational structure, the design of quality management system and theproduction line balancing. It offers the effective improvement measures to enhance theJT’s rate of qualified products, rate of production capacity utilization and productionefficiency. At the same time, this company analyzes and improves ways of productionmanagement after comparing with other advanced enterprises in this industry.Implementation and promotion of lean production is a systematic project, we needto understand the ideology of lean production deeply and combine it with enterprises’own characteristics to schedule specific plan and to promote the improvement. As aresult, they can make continuous progress and improve their competing abilities.This thesis can be divided into five parts. The first one is an overview of leanproduction theory, which briefly introduce the origins, developments, applications andcharacteristics of lean production. The second part mainly analyses the current statusof JT’s production management. The third one is the process and method of leanproduction. The fourth one is analysis of JT’s lean production program. The last onesummarizes the program’s implementation.Through the comparative method on the situation before and after theimplementation, the results show that JT company get the achievements fromprocurement process optimization, production quality improvement, few-peopleoperation due to implementing lean production program. Every company can apply thelean production into production improvements, however, the method for each companywill not be entirely the same because of the difference of background, culture,environment, characteristics of product, staff quality and other factors. Instead ofmechanically application, a company should have a deep understanding of leanthinking and its own characteristics and continuously promote improvement measuresso that a company will make more progress and achieve higher competitiveness.
