In classical manufacturing,automobile manufacturing industry and its parts processing industry can be said to be a huge proportion.In America,the first assembly line of the world was developed by Ford,and mass production was achieved,which promoted the development of the automotive industry strongly.More efficiency was brought and the production cost was reduced by using flow production line.For those reasons,it was widely used by many manufacturing enterprises.In the whole production manufacturing process,the assembly of parts on assembly line took a lot of time to achieve the transformation from semi-finished products to products.When it was put into practice,the problem of assembly line's balancing came.The unbalanced workload of each working station on the assembly line leaded to workers' waiting.The semi-finished products overstocked in the bottleneck.The way of solving this problem was to divide stations rationally to reduce the differences of every working station and promote the balance rate.The three main methods were mathematical analysis,Industrial Engineering and heuristic algorithm.This dissertation used Industrial Engineering technologies and mathematical analysis method to design the balance of the assembly line.And made full use of system simulation technologies to verify the success of this design and reach the dynamic balance of assembly line.All of these said using Industrial Engineering combining with mathematical analysis to design the balance of assembly line was practical and effective.The thesis took the front brake line as studying subject,and used mathematical modeling analysis and Industrial Engineering technologies to finish the design of balance in production line according to the actual production situation.At last,it improved the problems of low efficiency and unbalanced working load.At the same time,the theoretical research results of this paper would continue to enrich the product line balance design.First of all,the significance and background of the research was introduced,then the current situation of domestic and foreign scholars on assembly line,main contents,technical route.The basic theory and the main process of production line balance design was described.The modeling methods and steps of solving the assembly line balancing problem were explained,then the concrete Industrial Engineering technologies to solve the assembly line balancing problem.The basic principle of the system simulation software Flexsim in the verification of the design effect of the production line was demonstrated.Secondly,the paper introduced the manufacturing status of this enterprise called M.Data of time and contents of each process,capacity and practical working time everyday were collected.Based on these data,the job priority graph of the product was drew.In the end,the balancing model of the front brake assembly line was established according to the actual production situation.Then the branch and bound method and LINGO11.0 were used to divide stations for working elements in the front brake assembly line,and it got the preliminary balancing design of assembly line.Then the Flexsim simulation model was built,but the result of simulation turned out the preliminary balancing design hadn't reached its goal.Industrial Engineering technologies was used to analyze and improve the process contents and reassign the tasks.The process synchronization was realized and achieved the optimization of the original design.At last,Flexsim was reused to verify correctness of this design.
