Research on the economical evaluation for the auto company’s fuel‐saving technology options is in the context of responding to the call of our energy reduction, starting from the auto company ’s point of view, using the method of combining traditional research and empirical research, buliding the model of the economical evaluation for the auto company’s fuel‐saving technology options, to meet national policy, the third stage standard of “passenger car fuel consumption limits”, requirements. With this model, companies can have a simple way to option fuel‐saving technology and make production plans. At the same time, it can also help auto company to meet the requirements of relevant national policies, to ensure the diversity of the business of automotive products as well as their greater economic benefits.In the theoretical support of Decision Tree Algorithm and Linear programming algorithm, the model of the economical evaluation for the auto company’s fuel‐saving technology options builds a relatively complete system, with the help of EVIEWS and EXCEL. After validation of data from auto company F, the model is proved to be a successful one. The model is to conduct an overall evaluation of all models, no longer just evaluating for a single model. The model is more conductive for auto company to grasp the overall situation, to consider natural, economic and political environment, and to do scientific and rational analysis. So as to make a win‐win situation of auto company and the state.At the research of the economical evaluation for the auto company’s fuel‐saving technology options, the model requires a number of relevant data of the state as a supplement, because of the lack of some auto company data. In addition, there is no predictive value of the index of per capita disposable income of urban residents, the purchase index of the price of fuel and power, the purchase index of steel price, policy factors and the level of auto‐saving technology, before the using of this model, an accurate prediction is necessary.The focus of this article is to study on the objective function and constraints, only few research for the model solution methods, so the calculation process is too duplicate and complicated. Therefore, in future research on the economical evaluation for the auto company’s fuel‐saving technology options, more equations in solving need to be studied, in order to complete the model of the economical evaluation for the auto company’s fuel‐saving technology options.
