The performance of the management of the hotel is mainly about the competition of the outstanding talents competition, in order to invincible in the competition, the hotel should strengthen the management of the talents. Human resource is the primary resource, performance management is the core of the human resources development and management, and incentive mechanism can make performance management to achieve maximum efficiency. The introduction of incentive mechanism have greatly broaden the managers’ vision, improve the staffs working enthusiasm, made the role of the performance management into act. Whether the incentive mechanism of the hotel is timely and effective is restricts to the hotel’s human resources management, that determine a win-win situation in realizing the stable development and hotel staff self-achievement, incentive mechanism is increasingly becoming the center of the hotel management.In recent years, as the pillar of services industry, the hotel industry has obtained fast the healthy development, but at the same time, it faced with increasingly fierce competition even cruel. As to provide service primarily labor-intensive hotel, beside the construction of the hardware facilities, the most important in hotel is the high quality service, and the direct participant of providing the service for customer is employees. So, as for hotel industry which rely on grassroots employees providing high quality service, to achieve a better performance in competition, the performance management has a particular meaning. However, because of various kinds of problems during the performance of the incentive mechanism in employees, that greatly weaken the incentive mechanism affection..The author has surveyed the XB hotel in its incentive mechanism, after the investigation has found many problems. These problem including that exuding a solely assessment, the purpose of incentive mechanism is not clear, the incentive mechanism index is not reasonable, and lack of feedback in incentive mechanism These problems lead to XB of incentive mechanism subjective, arbitrary, and formal, and playing a direct impact on the staff job enthusiasm, also influencing tissue strategy of objectives. Therefore, during intense competition, how to science evaluation and management performance, motivate employees, and finally realize the strategic target, become the XB hotel most important problem currently. On the basis of reading the literature and through the investigation and analysis of the existing staff performance evaluation system of XB, by using the scientific method the author hope to optimize and design a incentive mechanism system which is suit for XB.
