The Analysis About Economic Space Structure Of Wan-jiang Urban Agglomeration

This paper systematically studies the economic space structure of Wan-jiang urban agglomerationin county scales，which is from the three aspects：town level structure, urban function structure and townindustrial spatial structure. Mainly using the Boston matrix analysis town level structure; Using concepts ofthe specialization of department, function scale and function strength quantitatively researches the urbanfunctional structure and qualitatively touches to the urban gathering and diffusion function; From the sameindustry and different industry, the paper analyzes the industrial spatial structure. Get the following mainconclusions:(1) The non-agricultural population scale is a static method, which can well reflect urbanstructure, but can’t reflect the urban population change on the change of the scale structure. Boston matrixmethod is a static and dynamic one, which combinates the urban population scale and the growth rate ofurban population. The conclusion is that：The scale of all towns is overall small； the number of each rankis not much higher much more but is from less to more and then less；the higher grade towns are too few,the vast majority are lower level town, and town level does not follow the coherent. A rational shape of thestructure is not "pyramid", but is inverted one.(2)Hefei is a comprehensive city, the third industry，such as science、education、 health andculture， has certain influence on mentioned regional scale, but the lower-end of the third industryinfluence is generally larger than the higher-end，such as financial industry; construction has large effect onthe four regional scale, but manufacturing is basic functions, so to strengthen the advanced manufacturingindustry and high manufacturing is very important.(3)Wuhu is a specialized city, which manufacturing is the support industry.The cityprofessionally service outside region at a high level, conversion industry to advanced and highmanufacturing, at the same time, strengthen the development of service industry. Maanshan is professionalmanufacturing city on the basis of mining. Manufacturing functions is second to the scale of Wuhu, butfunction strength are higher than Wuhu, and has a lot of complementary with Wuhu; Most services arenon-basic functions, which service function level is low, and need to be strengthened the function components and need to be adjusted and optimized structure. Tongling is a specialized city that copperindustry is the characteristic, manufacturing functions is second to scale of Wuhu and Maanshan, butfunction strength is higher than the two, and the three city manufacturing complementary strongly;Construction function scale and function intensity are comparatively big and high. Functional componentsstructure should to be optimized and adjusted.(4) Anqing is a diversified function city, which power, gas and water production and supplyindustry is the most prominent function components. The number of basic function components is more,but the function scale less, and comparative advantage not obvious. Manufacturing need to be further tohigh-end and advanced industry on a certain foundation, so as to change the comparative advantage intocompetitive advantage. The third industry development is comprehensive, but the financial industry andother advanced services development lags behind.(5)Luan，construction for the characteristic，is a specialized city on Wan-jiang agglomerationregional scale, in the other three regional scale is a diversified function one. The function scale ofconstruction is second to Hefei, its function strength lies first in Wan-jiang agglomeration, and constructionhas comparison superiority. Health、culture、science and education is developed；the informationtransmission, computer service and software comparative advantage is small； The lever of transportation,storage and postal service is low. Manufacturing location entropy seriously slants small, development ofsome high scientific and technological content in service industry lags behind, becoming the restrictingfactors.(6)Counties in Wan-jiang urban agglomeration have all types of industrial structure, that is to saythe industry structures diversify and complex. The231structure is given priority to, the321is the second,showing that the main counties go along the road to industrialization. The321structure is the mostreasonable industry structure types in theory, but should to be converted it to231structure because of therecent development stage.
