Inter-provincial Boundary Region Of The Urbanization And Economy Coordinate Development Research

The research about urbanization related questions already has some relatively systematic and mature researches both at home and abroad. The theoretical results of urbanization and coordinated economic development of the inter-provincial boundary region is relatively small in China. In the important period of comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society, to promote coordinated regional economic development and urban-rural integration, how to promote the development of economies and society of inter-provincial border region, promote the coordinated development of urbanization and economies of inter-provincial border areas, it apparently becomes an important research topic. In-depth study of urbanization problem of such regional can enrich the Provincial Border region theory, and provide reference to the development of urbanization, to the development of economies and society in the province border region of homogeneity.The thought of paper: First of all, through the literature review, analyzed and summarized the characteristics of the inter-provincial boundary region, urbanization and economic development characteristics. Second, to take the inter-provincial border areas-Xinyang as example and use qualitative methods, an empirical study of Xinyang, the statistical analysis methods:correlation analysis, regression analysis and principal component analysis. On the basis of analysis of Xinyang urbanization and economic development, analyze the coordination of Xinyang urbanization and economic development. Finally, On the basis of coordination analysis of Xinyang urbanization and economic development, the paper put forward countermeasures to promote the Xinyang urbanization and economy coordinated development.Through research, the main conclusions in this paper are:(1) The development of Xinyang Urbanization is slow and the level is lower; divergence of industrial is layout, scale benefit of economies is low; the development of urbanization is "top—down". The strength of economies of Xinyang is significantly enhancing, the total economic output increase continuously; City domain economic gap is obvious; industrial structure has optimization and adjustment.(2) Though the analysis on the coordination of Xinyang urbanization and economic development, from1998to2009, the relationship of Xinyang urbanization and economic development is relatively coordinated, but the level of urbanization and economic development is not high.(3) The paper put forward five countermeasures to promote coordinated development about Xinyang urbanization and economy:to accelerate economic restructuring, and promote the optimization upgrade of industrial structure; to strengthen the construction of industrial clustering, and promote rapid industrial development; to develop the labor economy, and encourage home business; to formulate science development plan about towns, and construction of a modern urban system; to build inter-provincial border regional central cities, and promote the common development of the region.
