According to the China Internet Network Information Center Statistics, as of the end of December2011, netizens of China reached513million, Internet penetration rate reached38.3percent. Because the popularity of Internet applications including instant messaging, online news, online payment, blog, microblog, social networking sites, forums, Internet has become a new way of cultural transmission, the live entertainment space, a new platform of social and public services social production and technological innovation of new tools. However, the Internet, while convenient, also brought some new problems to the community. Events such as the Internet, the proliferation of yellow vulgar, the high incidence of criminal behavior, use of the Internet hype sensitive issues, social contradictions, ultimately affecting social stability are endless. In this context, the governance of the Internet has become the focus of attention of various walks of life.Internet governance issues in China mainly include the following:(1) Define the related concepts of the Internet and Internet governance.(2) Experience in Internet governance in the United States, Britain, Germany, South Korea and Singapore were analyzed and summarized.(3) The current state of Internet governance in China were analyzed and the problems of China’s Internet governancepointed out.(4) Combined with the experience of the United States, Britain, Germany, Korea and Singapore, put forward the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the governance of the Internet in China.
