With the development of knowledge economy and the progress of scientific and technological, industrial systems and digital equipment develop rapidly, the reliability of equipment improve continuously. However compared with the advanced machinery and equipment, people have great variability, very low noise immunity and the extreme complexity, cognitive reliability of display and control interface is particularly important. So how to improve the overall reliability of man-machine system is particularly important.Through in-depth analysis of the previous literature, this paper studies the cognitive reliability problems of the display and control interface. The factors affecting the reliability of display and control interface in high-speed train can be divided into two categories:(1) self-factor (2) external factors. We select the different color combinations of the interface in "self-factors" and the vibration characteristics of the interface in "external factors".This paper examines the impact of different color combinations and vibration characteristics to identify the reliability of the interface information, in order to establish the specific relationship of the interface of different color combinations and vibration characteristics. This paper studies the impact of these two factors for identifying interface information in high-speed train through the cognitive tests. Using reaction as an indicator, we program through E-prime2.0and Microsoft Visual Basic6.0. We process the data with SPSS, and we got relevant conclusions.The results may offer basis for foreground/background color-matching design of the display and control interface. This would also provide a basis for the identification reliability and comfort design of Visual Display Terminals (VDT) under vibration operating situation. Finally, this study points out the shortcomings in the study, and further research are put forward.
