In the 21st century, the market competition is more and more fiercer, the development ofenterprises is affected more and more stronger by the market, manufacturing industry is facing moreand more pressure of competition, the orders production of many varieties and small batch hasgradually become production mainstream of manufacturing enterprises. In such a competitiveenvironment, to be a leading position in the competition, the enterprise must improve productdelivery time and quality, reduce the production cost. At the same time, the unceasing developmentof information technology makes the enterprise automation degree more and more higher, manyenterprises with the help of computer aided management information systems to strengthen themanagement, however the enterprise managers also obviously feel the plans have failed to keep upwith the changes, gradually realize the plans formulation and implementation should based on themarket status and production workshop actual operation. The 1990s manufacturing executionsystems (MES) appear to solve the problem of production plan adaptability and underlyingreal-time information flow.On the basis of the vast literature reading, this paper discusses in detail the generation and thedefinition of manufacturing execution systems (MES), the main function of MES and thepositioning of MES in the enterprise whole system, then introduces the research situation of MES inthe domestic and international, outlines the workshop production scheduling problems, and statesthe classification and characteristics of scheduling problem, the algorithms of solving thescheduling problem and the research status of scheduling problem, analyzes the research difficultyof production scheduling problem based on MES environment; And through in-depth investigationand research of the small and medium-sized bearing enterprises, analyzes the small andmedium-sized bearing enterprises’manufacturing execution system on the whole, on the basis ofstatus and characteristics analysis on the bearing manufacturing industry, combined with the actualproduction and management situation of KY bearing enterprise analyzes the requirements, businessprocess, and data flow of the system, and then under the guidance of design thought and principle,designs the framework and function of the system; The last part describes the core content of MESsystem in the small and medium-sized bearing enterprises-the workshop production schedulingproblem, and the algorithms of solving the scheduling problem are studied, on the basis ofalgorithms set up the mathematical model of scheduling problem, finally, compares the designedgenetic algorithm and the scheduling method of enterprise at present, and through the simulationmethod proves the validity of the designed algorithm. This paper designs MES system aimed at small and medium-sized bearing enterprises, realizesthe information interaction of the management and production control layer in enterprise, solves thefault problem of information in enterprise management, optimizes the entire process from theproduction order to complete the delivery of products, and tracks the production process inreal-time, treatments and responses timely the real-time incidents in production workshop, reducesthe activities of no value, improves the production efficiency, reduces the production cost, increasesthe enterprise overall efficiency. At the same time, from the bearing industry in our country, 90% ofthe bearing enterprises belong to the small and medium-sized enterprises, the design on the MESsystem in this paper provides the references for the information development of other small andmedium-sized bearing enterprises, has an actual reference value. The workshop schedulingproblems as the core part of MES system, this paper has carried out the key research on it, anddesigns the optimization algorithm, through the examples shows the effectiveness of theapplication.
