Development Of Work In Shop Management And Research Of Job Shop Scheduling For Manufacturing Enterprise

With the keen competition global market and the fierce development of information technology, it is vital for the survival and development of manufacturing enterprise to reform the system of enterprise management and improve competitive capacity through information management. As the joint of enterprise management and manufacturing, workshop connects information flows and material flows, while as the crucial part of enterprise management, WIP management concerns the application results of whole enterprise management information system. Furthermore, for Job Shop Scheduling(JSS) is key to production management of information system, there is theoretical significance and practical value to improve modernization level by devoting to effective scheduling methods and optimization techniques.This paper is established in the practical project of the management information system (MIS) for certain steering gear limited company in Liaoning province, and the main works and results are as follows:(1) Based on the former project with part functions in stock, sales and workshop, through surveying the enterprise and devoting to the WIP management styles, studies and builds the model of WIP management according with the practical demands of manufacturing enterprise, taking Microsoft VB.NET as development tool and SQL Sever2000 as data-base server, combining with characteristic of the company, designs and develops WIP management subsystem. At present, the subsystem, together with the whole project, is running well and showing excellent application effects.(2) After explains the importance of production scheduling, illustrates the JSS problem and its characteristics defining, then bringing forward and explaining JSS model of manufacturing enterprise with scheduling objects time model as the focus, finally designs data flow charts and forms, completes the scheduling model combining with MIS.(3) Introduces JSS problem form the point of its algorithm, and through defining machining data, restriction and performance index, builds JSS model for solution method; puts forward SDS decoding algorithm and its GA for the assembly tasks, obtains satisfying results by the simulation experiments. (4) Analyses the importance of software maintenance, through two practical maintenance works of the project, shows the process of checking system errors, and introduces development tools.Successful application of WIP management system and research on model and algorithm of JSS, enrich and consummate the functions of MIS, moreover , lay a good foundation for its application to similar manufacturing enterprises. The re-developments and diverse demands in the projects of manufacturing enterprises show the practical effects that MIS helps improving management level, MIS and manufacturing enterprises will grow by each other.
