R&D services, as an important part of productive services, has already haven a certain scale in Beijing, Shanghai ect at the moment. Developing R&D services can not only promote regional indigenous innovation ability, but also contribute to the development of high and new technology industry and manufacturing. However, Zhejiang has many problems in developing R&D services. Firstly, lack of research staff and fundings. Secondly, the weak ability of innovating. Most of R&D services in Zhejiang have not established their own R&D institutions and applied for patents. They are lack of core technology and products with independent intellectual property rights. Thirdly, low efficiency of R&D input and output. Therefore, how to develop R&D services has been an urgent problem. The research studies the factors influencing the knowledge transfer from R&D services to customer by using the method of case study from the view of R&D service enterprise. Based on a review of related literatures, firstly the research establishes a concept model, secondly choose two R&D service enterprises of textiles of Shaoxing which are Zhefangyuan and Yuehong as case study object. Through case analysis and cross case analysis, the research constructs a mechanism model of R&D service enterprises and clients, and proves the moderating effect of clients receiving intent. In this article, we contribute to this body of work by getting the following conclusions:(1) the stronger transfer motivation of R&D service enterprises, the better the effect of knowledge transfer is;(2) the stronger the transfer intent of R&D service enterprises, the better the effect of knowledge transfer is;(3) the richer experience of R&D service enterprises, the better the effect of knowledge transfer is;(4) the stronger receiving motivation of clients, the better the effect of knowledge transfer is;(5) the stronger absorptive ability of clients, the better the effect of knowledge transfer is;(7) the more complex the knowledge is and the greater cognitive distance is, the worse the effect of knowledge transfer is. The results indicate that Zhejiang should choose the model of government-industry-college cooperation to develop, and keep the communication and cooperation with local government and colleges and industries all over the world. Furthermore, the results have some instruction function to the development of R&D service enterprises of other industries in Zhejiang and the national textile industries.
