Study On The Cost Compensation For Agri-products Quality And Safety In China

Along with more attention the governments at all levels and the masses havepaid to the agricultural products (food), agricultural producers also actively respond tothe nation called for, to make efforts to enhance their own level of product quality andsafety. As with any products, safety is the first consideration. It’s not just related tomany ordinary People’s Daily diet, the more related to a country or region’s economicsustainable development and social stability. But the enhancement of quality oftenresults in the increase of the product cost, and then weakens the industrycompetitiveness. Agriculture as the basis of the national economy is the strategicindustry that concerns the human survival and development. It has received highattention from different countries. Governments around the world all use the methodof subsidies to strengthen the competitiveness and quality of its agriculture. Due to theparticularity of agriculture, it is imperative for the government to increase the productcost to guarantee the quality and safety of agricultural product.From the views of actual situation of the quality and safety of agriculturalproducts increase and the behavior choice of agricultural producer, this paper makeseconomic analysis for the quality and safety of agricultural products costcompensation of our country, through the supply and demand theory, game theory;Using successful foreign experience of cost compensation for the quality and safety ofagricultural products for reference, and then provides policy suggestion incombination with the status quo of our country’s quality and safety of agriculturalproducts cost compensation.This research is a further discussion for the compensation mechanism of qualityand safety of agricultural products. The paper divides to7chapters, Specific contents as follows.First Chapter: Introduction. It introduces the significance and background of thepaper, research status domestic and abroad, the study purpose and main contents,ideas and research methods, and the major innovation and problems in this paper.Second Chapter: Definitions and Theoretical basis. It mainly introduces therelated theory of the quality and safety of agricultural products and cost compensation.And then defines the Agricultural products, Safe agricultural products, costs ofagricultural products, Agricultural Subsidy Policy and the quality and safety ofagricultural products subsidies.Third Charter: Analysis for the cost structure and change of the quality andsafety of agricultural products in China. It mainly discusses three facets that is the realcost structure of quality and safety of agricultural products, the situation of theincreasing costs of quality and safety of agricultural products in China, and the statusquo of costs change.Fourth Charter: Analysis for the main body behaviors of the quality and safety ofagricultural products production in our country. Through the Positive Analysis for thebehavior of farmers, agricultural enterprise, and rural cooperatives, this chapterfurther tests the quality and safety of agricultural products all stakeholders behaviororientation, and then explores the appropriate principles and methods to establishingthe compensation mechanism of quality and safety of agricultural products cost.Fifth Chapter: Analysis for the necessity of the cost compensation.
