Study On The Shadow Price Of CO₂Emissions Of Industrial Sectors Of Gansu Province

In the past hundred years, relying on energy consumptions humans has made tremendous economic and social progresses, undesired outputs generated by high energy consumptions have also led to the emergence of environmental problems, the greenhouse effect is one of the important environmental issues that the world must face. Industry is an important pillar of the national economy which involves more sectors, but it consumes large amounts of high-carbon energy resources, and emits large quantities of carbon dioxide, thus becomes the focus of the study. At present, Gansu Province has became the national circular economy demonstration areas, and is exploring low-carbon path of economic development, therefore, it is very necessary to study the shadow prices of industrial CO2emissions, reasonably evaluate the cost of CO2emissions to environment, and to understand the characteristics of the changes.This dissertation introduces the research background, purpose and significance of writing ideas and research status firstly; Then based on the basic theories and research methods such as the environmental value theory, environmental cost theory, and shadow price theory, the dissertation focuses on and expands the shadow price analysis methods, introduces the concept and calculation method to explore the reasonable method, which enriches the means and contents of regional economics research in CO2emissions. After that, the dissertation selects the industry sectors for the study, and analyzes the industry characteristics and trends of CO2emissions; finally calculates the shadow prices of CO2emissions of the sectors and the profits and losses of emissions from the years of2003to2010,we compare the differences of industries and the time series, which will contributes to a reasonable collection of sewage charges, and finally makes the discharge of pollutants into the market trading system. as well as promote the internalization of external costs.
