Geo-economics Coopertation Research On Xin Jiang And Central Asia

Geo-economics is a new theory to explain the International Relations, it appears on the background of the globalization of the world economy and the collectivization of the regional economy. As any theory’s formation, it has its own origin, concept, characteristics and trend of development. However, compared with most international relations theory, its development time is short, some respects such as the defining, feature, and the system still remain to be further perfect summarized. In practice it has been used to explain or predict some international political phenomenon.After the9/11, the United States proposed to expand its presence in Central Asia trade, the European Union, Japan, South Korea, also not resigned to playing second fiddle. The special strategic position of the five Central Asian countries in the world set off a new round of race to control the market of Central Asia, re-integration of Central Asia resources. In the new round of competition, China must attach great importance to the Regional Economic Cooperation between Xinjiang and Central Asia, strive to maintain and achieve the greatest degree of China’s national interests, whether motivated by economic interests and political considerations.In this paper, based on the above consideration, I Reviewed the Geo-economics relations more than20years between Chinese Xinjiang and The five Central Asian countries from the economic cooperation process, scale, mechanism, policy, etc. then find out the existing problems, such as political security, legal system, economic policy and other aspects of defects, and the problems in countries level, enterprise level, and organizational level. Secondly, analysis the necessity and the feasibility of regional economic cooperation development between Xinjiang and Central Asia separate from their resource endowment, ethnic origin, infrastructure and so on. Finally proposed suggestions on strengthen the regional economic cooperation between Xinjiang and Central Asia, including increased innovation, speed up industrial upgrading, strengthen technical facilities construction, realize the diversification of trade way, ect. In short, strengthen Regional Economic Cooperation, both are helpful to provide the international support for the Central Asian regional economic development and maintain the stability of Central Asia, but also beneficial to China’s west development strategy and national economic security and political security.
