Study On The Tourism Peceptions Of ’hosts And Guests’ In Guilin Xanadu Scenic Spot

As a form of tourism which can meet the demand of modern urbanite, rural tourism increasingly popular in the global scope. In recent years with the rapid development of rural tourism, research on rural tourism has become one of the main concerns in China’s tourism research field. At present, many of the research results main concern for the economy driving effect of rural tourism, the starting point that the government promoted rural tourism in the process is also the efficiency of rural tourism economic. However, when rural tourism in full swing, we should also observe that rural tourism not only bring certain economic benefits, but also bring about many negative impacts to the village community of social culture, and resources environment and psychological of residents and so on, in addition, the issue can’t be neglected. Consequently, identify rural tourism development status and influence of the community’s influence effectively, play the positive effect of rural tourism further, and control the negative influence of rural tourism maximumly, will be the primary problem to realize the sustainable development of rural tourism.In the core target and the framework of sustainable tourism, it emphasize that, the devement of tourism should improve the living standard of the residents’, and bring about tourists with a high quality of travel experience. As the important interest groups, the tourism perceptions and evaluations of the local people can reflect the affection degree of economy and social culture and ecological environment in their homeland, in addition, the perceptions and attitudes of the residents play an important role in sustainable development of the loacal tourism, for this reason, attention to the perceptions and attitudes of the residents should be for the urgent affairs in rural tourism research task. Meanwhile, in the perception of the rural tourists for perspective and on the base of the perceptions and evaluations, we can assess the current situation and the existing problems of the development of the rural tourism effectively, so that we can put forward nichetargeting countermeasures for the sustainable development of scenic spot. Therefore, the tourism perceptions and satisfactions of guests and hosts can be used as the key basis for the sustainable development of rural tourism, in that way, all kinds of perception factors which influence residents and tourists’satisfaction become the focus of attention.As an AAAA scenic spot and the first batch of the agricultural tourism demonstration site and the world tourism organization recommended tourist destination, the development of rural tourism in Guilin Xanadu Scenic Spot has certain representativeness. Consequently, this paper take Xanadu Scenic Spot as a case to do study.Study on the perceptions of reisdents and tourists are the main achievement of this paper. On the base of documentary analysis and field work, the author use SPSS17.0and Excel to analysis the data, and quantitate evalue the perception result sof residents and tourists, and interpret the results from the angle of sociology in the supporting of objective and effective data.In the section of perceptions study of the residents, this thesis proceed with the residents’ economic and social culture and environment perceptions which brought by the development of tourism, by means of residents’perceptions analysis, it reaches some factors that exist in the destinations which affect the sustainable development of rural tourism. The paper states briefly hat, if a regional tourism wants to succeed, it must obtain the support and coordination which from the local residents, enhance the residents’support for tourism is the inevitable reqirement of tourism sustainable deveopment. Conduct the survey and analysis of rural residents’tourism perceptions, monitor the residents’perceptions and attitudes, realize the residents’manner and actions to tourism, focus on the social fairness problems of rural tourism, seek the harmonious way of rural tourism development is a urgent task, this is signality for the destination’s sustainable; In the section of the tourists perceptions, this paper analysis the tourists’perceptions from the rural ecological environmental quality and tourism commodities and service quality and the social and cultural customs and interactions in the social community, on that basis, the author evaluates the satisfaction of the tourists in Xanadu Scenic Spot. By means of evaluating the tourists’perceptions, we can appraise the status of tourism development and the existing problems, as well as we can guid rural tourism development and construction, so that we can prepare sustainable development countermeasures and measures.In section six of the paper, the author takes the results of the hosts and guests as the basis and combines the sustainable theory, this thesis points out the principles and implementation approaches to realize the sustainable development of rural tourism.The main purpose of this paper is that with the angle of the hosts and guests’perceptions, by means of the firsthand data and combine with the quantitative and qualitative methods to study the perceptions of the hosts and guests’in rural tourism area, and the author wants to play a valuable role. In the mean time the autor also wants to provide positive reference to the management and planning and service in rural tourismThe thesis choices the micro view of residents and tourists to evaluate the present development situation and the developmentability of tourist destination, and it provides a general applicability qualitative research perspective and research method to the destination’s sustainable development. At the same time use this visual angle will have comparability and maneuverability and objectivity, it will contribute to the relevant authority to appraise and manage the development of rural tourism management. Nonetheless, the sustainable development of rural tourism not only depends on the residents and tourists’ perceptions, but also relies on the game of all stakeholders. In order to stress the key point the paper doesn’t formulating the above issues, it should be probed in the further research. Consequently, this paper, is only the preliminary results of the research field, it still has a lot of spaces to develop in the follow-up study.
