The Analysis On The Factors Of Russia And The United States For China’s Central Asia Energy Security

Nowdays, China’s integration into the global economy and market system is irreversible, the interdependence between China’s development and the outside world has been greatly enhanced, and establishing a stable energy supply system to ensure energy security has been the key strategic of China. Because of the importance of its geo-strategic location and vast energy reserves, Central Asia has been a focus of contention for China and the other states, and the issue of energy security is in the urgency.Russia and the United States are the major geopolitical factors affecting China’s energy security in Central Asia, so the paper has analysed on Central Asia energy strategy for Russia and the United States, and to analyze the positive or negative impact on the energy security system of China caused by Russia and the United States respectively. At the same time, to have a comparative analysis for the triangular relationship among China, Russia and the United States on energy competition in Central Asia. By comparing the objectives of energy strategy, the way of cooperation and its effect, we try to propose an overall strategy about Russia and the United States to ensure the energy security of China in Central Asia.Developing stable China-US relations, we should pay more attention to the role played by the United States for the energy security in Central Asia of China, rather than confrontation, and to maintain overall relaxation and general trend of cooperation between the two countries. Timely following up and investigating the United States energy strategy and goals in the region in order to adapt its own policy, and establishing an integrated response system to enhance China’s energy interests. As for Russia, with the opportunity of strategic partnership formed between China and Russia, further strengthening the economic and trade relations between the two sides, through China’s own economic advantage to Russia as soon as possible, to enhance energy cooperation between the two countries, So that it can not only cope with the pressure of the United States, but can also bring Russia’s rich energy resources into the Central Asia energy supply system of China to ensure China’s energy security in Central Asia.This paper has mainly used literature analysis and comparative analysis. Through the collection, collation and analysis of literature to analyze the influence of Russia and the United States respectively, and comparing these two factors. Basing on the comparative analysis of energy diplomacy of China, Russia and the United States in Central Asia, we can better understand China’s geo-environment of Central Asia’s energy supply, so that we can provide ideas for China to develop an appropriate strategy.
