The village in the city（VIC）hascause series of problems on the economy, environment, landscape and culture of thecities, therefore it is necessary to transform the urban villages.Today, In the process ofrapid development in the city, more people will pursue the city’s "business card","brand city” and design of the city’s appearance. But this manner ignored that city isthe space of people’s lives. City requires not only construction of the physical aspects,also need construction of the mental aspects. Therefore, the problem on thetransformation of villages must proceed from the reality to analyze specific issues andfrom the long-term perspective of urban development, urban planning and constructionto achieve the reasonable transformation of villages, and create more economic, socialand ecological benefits. The study of the villages’ construction will promoteharmonious development of China’s economic and social, maintain social stability,broaden the employment channels of Villages residents, and promote urban reform anddevelopment. It is practical significance to promote harmonious society.This paper according to a lot of literature readings, This study base constructionbackground and development status of Harbin villages analyse the problems in thevillages construction process and combined with the research results of the domesticvillages in order to solve urban development problems. Through the survey of thevillages change and combination with the Harbin economy, transportation, urban,tourism and development of villages, we should make full use of land resources toestablish livable environment between the people, human and nature. case studying,and the analysis of Hadad village about transformation in current situation, then putforward to countermeasures to be taken in the transformation. In order to promote thetransformation of Villages in Harbin successfully, we propose specific measures inland use of the villages, in the placement of the villages’ population, in environmentaltransformation of the villages and other aspects. This study is conducive to promote the transformation of villages in Harbinefficiently, at the mean while it deepens the specific implementation measures in thetransformation of villages in Harbin.
