Neo-liberal Institutionalism Horizon, East Asia Regional Cooperation Mechanism Analysis

In the21st century, it is no doubt that China rises in East Asia and China’s positionin East Asia attracts the world’s attention. Good or bad of the East Asian regionalcooperation mechanisms not only will directly affect political, economic and securityrelationship between China and neighboring countries, but also will touch upon China’ssettle-down. Based on collating neoliberal institutionalism theory, and discussing theprocess of East Asian regional cooperation mechanisms, the paper will try to themaximum extent possible to resolve the main obstacles that the East Asian regionalcooperation mechanisms face, and propose countermeasures of China to promote EastAsia regional cooperation mechanisms, the interdependence, international mechanismsand international cooperation related point of view of neoliberal institutionalism theoryas the theoretical analysis tools.
