Study On The Urban-rural Income Gap In China

Constructing the Socialist harmonious society is a very important strategic decisions, and now with the process of socio-economic development, income gap between urban and rural areas is increasingly highlighting, and takes on a widening trend, not only becoming obstacles to the building and construction of a harmonious society, and further the objectives of building a well-off society in China, and not only that, but in a balanced development of the economy also has a threat. It is clear that research on the income gap between urban and rural residents has bearing on social progress and development, in particular related to the common prosperity for all, and inextricably linked to the implementation of the final and harmonious society, and therefore closer to the Party Central Committee and the State Council continued to take measures to increase the farmer’s income, with a view to narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas, however in order to solve this problem is not solved overnight can be done, and it is very difficult. On the premise of gradual expansion of urban-rural income gap in China and gap problem analysis studies is imperative to them. In the context of such a premise this paper seeks to analyse causes of income gap between urban and rural residents, focused on exploring the system of narrowing the gap between its effective countermeasures.This article first grooming on the research results related to the subjects of some of the scholars at home and abroad, and proposed research methods and research. On this basis, through system discussed the Marxism theory of equitable and fair distribution of the Socialist theory with Chinese characteristics, to determine the theoretical basis of this article. Immediately followed by a lot of chart data reflects this issue we present situation of real, first of all is the growth rate of per capital income levels and in urban and rural residents, consumption levels in the data analysis of the situation, again through the Eastern, middle and Western comparative method generally indicates that the situation of urban and rural incomes continued to expand in China. Study on the progress of the causes determining direction, is mainly based on the system analysis of urban-rural income gap in China, came to the city preference system is the primary factor of the growing income gap between urban and rural areas, from urban and rural Exchange, redistribution, resource allocation, price has made four deals. Based on the concept of urban and rural development, to explore measures to narrow the income gap between China’s urban and rural system, is divided into six main areas, namely, finance and taxation, finance, education, residence and employment, social security and property rights.Main characteristics and possible innovations for this article is:not only under the guidance of the Marxist theory of fair distribution, also based on China’s leaders point out that equitable theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. More refined from a systems perspective, a more thorough analysis of urban-rural income gap in China. Concluded that the root cause of this problem is a binary system of distribution pattern of urban bias and accordingly, plain language put forward solution system measures of urban-rural income gap in China.
