Research On The Planning Of Suburban Scenic Areas

The suburban scenic area which is a special type of scenic area, located in suburb.Nowadays, with the rapid development of urbanization and landscape tourism, ourcountry’s suburban scenic areas are in the climax period of development andconstruction, they are facing many contradictions and problems in planning,construction, protection and management. Therefore, the research on the planning ofsuburban scenic areas is not only necessary, but also very meaningful. This articledraws lessons from domestic and international relevant planning theories and practiceexperience, combining with my own planning practice, studies on the planning ofsuburban scenic areas systematically, analyzes the main problems existing insuburban scenic areas detailedly, and presents the planning countermeasures in orderto provide some reference for suburban scenic areas’ planning.The main researchcontents and results are as follows:Firstly, analyzes the research progress at home and abroad; and indicates thereseraching contents, methods, purposes and meaning. And on this basis, elaboratesthe concept and connotation of urban and urbanization, scenic areas and scenic areaplanning; summarizes scenic areas’ classification and its planning stages and contents;defines the concept of suburb scenic areas in this article; and discusses the relevanttheories for suburban scenic area’s planning.Secondly, studies the basic properties of suburban scenic areas comprehensively,elaborates suburban scenic areas’ features, functions, and the development processand interaction between city and suburb scenic area separately.After that, combining with the status quo of our country’s suburban scenic areasand some related cases, analyzes their outstanding problems in land use, ecologicalenvironment, traffic, landscape, history and humanities, economomy and social,management etc., make the issues that this paper will discuss clearly, and point out thewriting entry of this paper. And then draws lessons from domestic and internationalrelevant theories and practical experience on the foundation of previous research,investigates the planning countermeasures which can be used to deal with the problems in the above-mentioned seven aspects,as well as some specific methods andtechniques.Finally, takes the master planning of Dongshishan provincial scenic area inZherong, Fujian as an example, analyzes the planning countermeasures’ feasibility inpractice. And summarizes a few core concepts which should be emphasized in theplanning process.
