Since the reform and opening in the past more than30years, the economy, national income and residents health level of china have get the great development and improvement. But at the same time, the income gap of residents have also gradually expanded. Because the income gap can directly affect the country s investment to education, health, health products and services, and influence the health level of human capital, the research of income disparity’s impact on the capital of human health will have important practical significance.Based on modern human capital theory, this paper use qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods to study income disparity impact on the capital of human health. The author studies income disparity’s impact on the capital of human health from the absolute income hypothesis theory, relative income hypothesis theory, income inequality hypothesis, three theoretical perspectives. This paper discusses the income gap between the affect health function mechanism of human capital in the aspects of idealism, materialism and economic benefits. The author uses China’s29provinces panel data to build the panel fixed effects model to study the income disparity’s impact on the capital of human health, and empirically study the income disparity’s impact on the capital of human health and the differences among the eastern, central and western areas. The results found that, the income disparity’s impact on the capital of human health is negative, and the western region is greater than the central region, the central region is greater than the east. The economic growth rate’s impact on the capital of human health is positive, and the eastern region is greater than the central region, the central region is greater than the western region. On this basis, it puts forward some suggestions to narrow the income gap and improve the health level of human capital from the macro and micro aspects.
