In order to continuously improve the governance structure of the corporate and meet the market and customer’s needs to greatest extent, the Unicom conducted a comprehensive integration of the management resources after a reorganization by adjusting and changing the corporation’s organization, personnel and management processes. The affiliated corporation of Unicom in Inner Mongolia has unified to use the new on-line ERP system. The Unicom took the integration as an opportunity to implement the new ERP, integrate the corporation’s internal management resources and establish a new management model. The model is process-oriented set of business processes, accounting, imputation and sharing information, risk management and internal control, organization and job duties and responsibilities. All the above promoted the company’s full integration within the management resources, improved the company’s operational efficiency and set a basis for the achievement of the company’s strategic objectives and sustained and rapid development.This paper mainly studies on the integration of new and old systems, mainly the usage of the new on-line ERP system, based on the information management system of Unicom after the overall integration of Inner Mongolia Unicom and Inner Mongolia Netcom. Article first analyzes the status of information technology branch and management status of the Inner Mongolia Unicom and draws a conclusion that the existing management systems no longer meet the needs of the new company. In order to meet the needs of the integration of two companies, Unicom lauched the new ERP system. Then this paper introduces the modules, key features and the main purpose of the new on-line ERP system. And the investigation and research about the new ERP system on the line from the entire process. That is the beginning of the project organization to the implementation of the final use. Then some of the differences between old and new ERP system are briefly described, while summarized some of the problems after the new ERP system’s online. Finally, the article concluded some implementation of lessons learned combined with the actual situation of Inner Mongolia Unicom.
