Based On The Iso9001 Quality Management Information Systems Research

ISO9001: 2000 standards condenses the a-century advanced managing experience of developed countries, absorbs many present excellent managing methods, brings forward the view of customers focus, and emphasizes process management and continual improvement. To establish and implement ISO9001 Quality Management System has been the main method of enterprise's gaining quality competence. However, while enterprise establishes and implements ISO9001 Quality Management System, there are many problems yet as follow: inefficient manual management, the desperation between the establishment of Quality Management System and the development of information system, the ineffectiveness for information system to support enterprises' quality management, and so on. Only solidifying the business process by programming files doesn't assure that the standards have run effectively for a long time. Therefore, if does so, enterprise must seek for a more effective means—Quality Management Information System. As a new management tool that integrates modern Quality Management thoughts with Information Technology, QMIS will help to enhance the efficiency of quality management. But the present QMISs almost are established on the element patterns, lack the support and integration of process management, and don't really meet the requirements of the ISO9001: 2000 Quality Management System.In order to solve this problem, this paper mainly analyzes the architecture of QMIS based on ISO9001 and the realization of process management, and then puts forward the Quality Management Information System based on ISO9001. It includes four parts as follows: the first part reviews and analyzes the development, current research and applied situation of ISO9000 Family standards and QMIS, presents the deficiency of the current system, and puts forwards the necessary of developing QMIS based on ISO9001. On the basis of the study on ISO9001 standards and the present QMIS, the second part systematically analyzes the designing thought of QMIS based on the ISO9001 standards, describes the functional and systematic structures of QMIS and realizes the requirement of the Process Management by applying the Process Management Platform. According to the requirement of process management realization in the QMIS based on the ISO9001, the third part studies the process of theQuality Management System and the methods of process identifying and disassembling, and optimal methods. Based on the process analyses, the fourth part realizes the main functions of Process Management Platform and establishes the architecture of the platform by workflow technology.The useful conclusions and innovations in the paper is summarized as follow: Firstly, the paper introduces the concept of Process Management into the QMIS based on the ISO9001, perfects the functional structure of the QMIS based on the ISO9001, and establishes the QMIS based on the ISO9001 supported by the Process Management Platform. Secondly, the paper systematically analyzes the process analysis methods of the quality management system, concludes the process identifying and disassembling methods, puts forward the basic process model of the quality management system which will be used to help enterprises complete the process disassembling of the quality management system. Thirdly, the paper establishes the process model of the quality management system by workflow technology, realizes the computerization and instantiation of the model, and finally, establishes the architecture of Process Management Platform to achieve the functions of Process Management Platform on the basis of the Model of Workflow Management System.
