Study On The Development Of Vegetable Industry Of Chang Sha

With the constantly adjusting of the agriculture industry structure, vegetable industry is becoming a very important industry in promoting economic development. With the new rural construction stepping forward and people’s consumption level raising, developing vegetable industry has a very important meaning to increase farmers’ income, and to promote the regional economic development. As the core city of Hunan province’s "one point one line" construction and ChangZhuTan economic integration, and at the same time as one of the emphasis of the central city, Changsha’s economic and social influence is obvious. With the quickening of the process of industrialization, urbanization in Changsha and the changing of economic development environment both at home and abroad, the development of vegetable industry shows the importance of its own, and also created new problems, vegetable industry’s development pattern needs to be adjusted and perfected.Firstly, this essay discussed the meaning and characteristics of vegetable industry and the meaning of developing vegetable industry on the basic theory of relevant research and systematically analyzed the developing pattern of vegetable industry. Secondly, through SWOT analysis about Changsha’s vegetable industry development, I described the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and its strategic choice of vegetable industry development in Changsha. Again, through the empirical analysis of influences to vegetable industry development in Changsha, I pointed out some influencing factors to the development of vegetable industry. Finally, through taking example by the successful experience of Shandong Shouguang’s vegetables industry development,1put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions, such as strengthening the construction of vegetable base, then realizing a large-scale production; making use of the industry science and technology advantages, ascending vegetable scientific and technological content of the product; strengthening policy incentive dynamics, ensuring the steady development of vegetable industry.
