Microblogging, Undoubtedly become the one of the most popularkeywords of the Internet in2011. Every day, through this short140word,People publishing and receiving information, exchanging of feelings.microblogging can be called a "miniature version" of the social. Themajor portals have developed a micro-Bo and started an "enclosure"movement, After the peak of the Registered, the microblogging battlechange from expanding the user base into maintaining active users.the words "users activity" become a measure of the competitiveness ofmicro-blogging site.At present, There are few articles about the microblogging activity,Especially from the perspective of communication studies. This articlefocus on "Active users" and takes Sina for example. using "uses andgratifications" theory, I study the microblogging market conditions andhow to enhance the "users activity".This article is divided into four parts: The first part is an introductionon the research status at home and abroad and define relatedconcepts;the second part summarizes the necessity of researchthrough the microblogging market situation analysis;the third part studythe users activity from "uses and gratifications" of the media and mediainformation;the fourth part conclude the strategy to enhance usersactivity based on the preceding analysis. To enhance user activity, Ibelieve it can be motivated from the content, interpersonal andnetworking technologies, Firstly, we should strength the information flowand promote UGC; Secondly, we should maintain a relationship ofequality between the community users and promote the connectionof customer relationship;Thirdly, we need to create minimalist platformand aggregates advantage of the third-party.The innovation of this article is the integrated use of multi-disciplinary knowledge, included communication, psychology,sociology, information science, etc and use the crawler software tocrawl data, sample survey of user behavior,a combination of both toensure the accuracy of the data and reliability. Althoughmicroblogging is a hot topic now, the path of development in China isnot yet clear. Through research and analysis, I aim to bridge theresearch gap of the "users activity", and also a draw for thedevelopment of Chinese microblogging and the other social mediainformation.
