Research On Employee Pension Insurance System In Aging Of Population Era

The data of the sixth national census indicate that our country has entered the aging society completely in2010and the elderly population’s proportion in the total population will continue to rise in the future. Aging of population is a sign of progress in human society to some extent, while it is also a new challenge facing the whole world because that the incumbent today must support more and more people who is no longer active to create wealth, which put huge pressure on Government’s finance. With the aging of population, the decline of birth rate and the miniaturization of family structure, the security function of the traditional family has been weakened sharply while national’s dependence on the old-age insurance offered by government increases rapidly and people’s worry in old-age support is increasingly heavier. How to reform the old-age insurance system in the era of aging of population has aroused more and more public attention.Many foreign countries have reformed and improved their national old-age insurance system in the face of aging of population. In our country, the research on old-age insurance system in the context of aging population has increased gradually since the1990s, but these studies were mainly based on theoretical analysis in common, which covered farmers, workers, civil servants and many other social class, though the contents were rich but inaccuracy and lack of data support especially the first-hand data. Through the information of the enterprise workers about insurance participation and payment which was obtained by the practical work in Zibo City, the author analyzes the problems in the current old-age insurance policy when it is faced with aging of population, which will directly or indirectly provide reference for our country’s reform in pension insurance system for enterprise employees and promote the reform more actively so that our country can deal with the challenges for pension insurance system successfully raised by aging of population.This paper uses qualitative and quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis as base and quantitative analysis as the main means and analyzes the pension insurance system for enterprise employees in China through extracting the whole basic data from the social insurance database of Zibo City and applying the non-parametric tests, variables correlation analysis, regression analysis and other data analysis method and points out the problems in the existing system with the corresponding solution.This paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is mainly about the background, significance, research methods and innovation of this paper on challenges faced by old-age insurance system. The second chapter gives an introduction and summary on the change and reform of the national old-age insurance system in the era of population of aging, and discusses the development of the pension insurance system for enterprise employees in China and introduces the research of domestic scholars and relevant government departments on pension insurance system in the face of population of aging.The third chapter gives the definite concepts involved in old-age insurance system; based on the data of individual workers in the social insurance database of Zibo City, through the operation of the pension insurance system in Zibo City compares and analyzes the changes and the problems of the old-age insurance system in the past20years from three aspects including retirement, the monthly pension and the insurance payment.The fourth chapter displays the summary and conclusion of the aforementioned problems in our employee pension insurance system, and gives suggestions in four aspects to raise the retirement age, increase government subsidies, strengthen law enforcement and implement the national coordinating basic old-age insurance.
