Comparative Analysis On The Effect Productive Services On The Manufacturing Competitiveness Of Pan-pearl River Delta Region

With the continuous development of social economy, the relationship betweenproducer services and manufacturing is becoming increasingly close, and manyscholars have found that the former has a leading role in promoting the latter.In recentyears, the producer services of Pan-Pearl River Delta region has developed rapidly,but in different provinces within the region the producer services given the unevendevelopment. There are differences in their role in enhancing the competitiveness ofthe manufacturing, and they still lag behind the overall development. This restricts themanufacturing industry competitiveness to enhance to some extent. Through the studythe role of producer services to enhance the manufacturing competitiveness ofPan-Pearl River Delta region, we tried to explore.We use quantitative analysis toidentify the factors of producer services to enhance the manufacturingcompetitiveness in varying degrees, and thus obtain more convincing conclusion.Based on the interaction mechanism between producer services and manufacturingand the channel mechanism by which the producer services to enhance themanufacturing competitiveness，according to the currently producer services andmanufacturing development status of the nine provinces in Pan-Pearl River Deltaregion, ths paper do quantitative analysis on the basis of the qualitative analysis tostudy the role of producer services to enhance the manufacturing competitiveness. Inthe empirical analysis section, we use the method of super-efficiency DEA to comparethe level of manufacturing competitiveness of the nine provinces, and build the timeseries econometric model to do quantitative analysis of the role that producer servicesto enhance the manufacturing competitiveness. The empirical results demonstrate thatdifferences do exist in the role of different provinces the producer services to enhancethe manufacturing competitiveness, and not every industry in the producer serviceswill played a role to enhance the competitiveness of the manufacturing. Based on thisresult, we analyze the factors affecting the differences in the provinces of Pan-PearlRiver Delta that producer services to enhance the competitiveness of themanufacturing, and try to make some policy recommendations to solve the problem.
