The Research On The Influence Of Yangtze River Delta Urban Cluster's Producer Services Agglomeration On Its Manufacturing Transformation And Upgradation

With?The Yangtze River Delta urban cluster's development plan?was ratified in 2016,China's goal of establishing the Yangtze River Delta urban cluster to be a modern services and high-end manufacturing basement is clearer.However,under the pressures of the rising labor cost and the increasing international competition,China's manufacturing industry needs to transform and upgrade.The Yangtze River Delta urban cluster's producer services has been developing quickly recent years,and has formed an agglomeration.In this context,analysing of the Yangtze River Delta urban cluster's producer services agglomeration's influences on the manufacturing industry has a certain practical significance.After summarizing the relevant literature on the clustering of producer services and the transformation of manufacturing structures,the article through theoretical analysis,elaborating the interaction mechanism and influence between the agglomeration of producer services and manufacturing transformation and upgradation,and also putting forward the hypothesis that the agglomeration of producer services in the Yangtze River Delta urban cluster can promote the upgrading of its manufacturing structure.Furthermore,the article uses the relevant data from 26 cities of the Yangtze River Delta city cluster from 2007 to 2016,and constructs indicators to measure and analyze the current status of producer services agglomeration in the Yangtze River Delta urban cluster.In the empirical part,under the base of panel data model,the article analysis the impact of producer services agglomeration on manufacturing structure through its heightening and rationality.Besides,in order to better understand different cities of the Yangtze River Delta urban cluster's conditions,the article uses grouping models to analysis the producer services agglomeration's promotion to the heightening and rationality of the manufacturing structure in Jiangsu Province,Zhejiang Province and Anhui Province.And at last,using the mediating effect model to analysis the effect of agglomeration of producer services on manufacturing transformation and upgradation.Through the above research,the article made some conclusions:the agglomeration of producer services in the Yangtze River Delta urban cluster has a positive role in promoting the transformation and upgradation of the manufacturing industry;Each factor has different effects on the different provincial units'manufacturing structure;Industry agglomeration can generate spillover effects through intermediary variables,stimulating the structural upgradation of the manufacturing industry and so on.Based on these conclusions,some relevant policy recommendations were made.
