Chinese companies officially began in foreign direct investment activities that can be tracedback to the economic reform measures proposed by the State Council in1979‘to go out and dobusinesses. Along with the30years development of the reform and opening up, foreign directinvestment in China has gone through from scratch, from small to large, from weak to strong.Especially in the occasion of the turn of the century, after the central government implementingthe ‘going out’ strategy, the scale of investment expanded rapidly, the pace of the developmentaccelerated noticeably, and China is becoming more and more important in the global foreigndirect investment market. The end of2001after joining the WTO, China has accelerated the pace of opening up.Under the policy guidance, Chinese companies also expanded the overseas investment scale.Chinese foreign direct investment has increased for nine consecutive years since2002, and theaverage annual growth rate has reached49.9percent. In2010, the foreign direct investment flowachieved the highest value in history of688.1billion U.S. dollars, this figure is2.3times to thetotal of the "Tenth Five" period. The development of foreign direct investment in China isamazing, but because of the short course of development and the small amount in the early stage,so there is still a gap with the developed countries on the stock, foreign direct investment inChina still has a long way to go.The foreign direct investment is a complex process affected by many factors and canproduce a series of questions.
