The Comparative Study Of Land Intensive Use In Diverse Development Zones

Development zones which had contributed greatly to reform and opening cause in China, are the agglomeration center of modern industry and backbone elements of regional economic growth. But there are problems in the land use of development zones like paying too much attention to expansion, scale, investment and ignoring the developing potentialities, efficiency and planning. In order to ensure sustainable development of social economy, construct resources-saving and environment-friendly society, improve the land resources ability, relax the inconsistency between land supply and land need, we must change the situation of development zones expansion and rough handling of land, establish intensive and efficient land use model of development zones. Research results of the differences and comparison of different location types of development zones’intensive land use have positive significance to the changes in land economic operation system, improving land resources utilization efficiency, reducing the extensive use of land and the implementation of land economical and intensive utilization policy.Based on this, this paper starts from the perspective of the micro-location, selects three development zones of different location types in Fuqing city as the research object. First, this paper clarifies the concept of zone and location, defines the combination concept of the development zone and the location, and introduces the basic theory of the intensive use of land. Then this paper evaluates the land intensive use degree of three development zones of different location types and analyzes the land use status, efficiency, management performance, potential and industrial features etc. of the three development zones by horizontal comparison. The results shows that the land utilization level from high to low are urban development zone, small town development zone, port development zone, and the land intensive use of each development zones have different effects in the implementation of different influence factors. Finally, according to the results, this paper puts forward several countermeasures and suggestions in the intensive use of land.
