The Analysis And Evaluation On Container Transportation Of Inner Harbor In The Tianjin Beijiang Port

As an important basis for economic development and opening up of Tianjin and Binhai New Area, Tianjin Port has become an important hub of an integrated transport system and coastal main hub port; northern container trunk port and an important port for the development of modern logistics; the main transshipment port of the transport of energy supplies and raw materials; the important foreign trade port in Beijing, Tianjin and North China.As the main port of production operations in Tianjin Port, Beijiang Port has about One-third of the land area in Tianjin Port, and assumes about half of Tianjin Port cargo throughput. In addition to shipping, the road collection and distribution accounted for more than85%of the total collection and distribution in Beijiang Port; at the same time, compared to the other ports rail and pipeline transportation of Beijiang Port disadvantaged, collecting and distributing set for less than15%of the total in Beijiang Port; In addition, the Beijiang Port mainly based on the container and bulk cargo transportation. Affected by the container shipping operations the traffic pressure of Beijiang Port is unbalanced. From the above situation, Beijiang Port has become the main traffic point area in Tianjin Port container transportation.With the rapid economic development of the hinterland, Tianjin Port is rapidly expanding the scale of the port, gradually diversifing function, also increasing goods throughput. Traffic demand has been steadily increased in Tianjin Port. The port within the contradictions has increasingly intensified, especially a large area of traffic jams during the peak period of the collecting and distributing; traffic demand caused by the ship work exceeds the port road network can bear, road capacity of the port had been enormous challenges; limitations of the status quo road network structure lead to transport bottleneck point; less alternative path to collection and distribution, low road grade of the section, the poor road condition has lead to port traffic problem that had become increasingly prominent. This article aims to carry out a series of microscopic analysis of Beijiang Port, serious traffic area, from container transportation point of view. Through the use of WITNESS simulation software to take a combination approach of qualitative analysis and quantitative research, comprehensive interpretation of Beijiang Port container transportation status quo to find out the status quo bottleneck problem, proposesolutions to improve traffic conditions, and thus alleviate or improve the main portarea of Tianjin Port’s internal contradictions among the road traffic, and promote Tianjin port and gradually developed into a commercial port and industrial port, acombination of passenger and freight, advanced facilities, efficient management, the benefits are remarkable, functional, beautiful environment, a modern comprehensive port.
