Research Of The Development Of China’s Container Port

With the rapid advance of economic globalization, the scale of goods trade is growing rapidly. Transport of goods plays a more and more important role in the development of economy. In this condition, Container transport arises. As a new mode of transportation, Container Transport standardized transport of goods and improves the transportation efficiency. At the same time, it can reduce losses during transport and Reduce transportation costs. Therefore, more and more people use this approach in the transport of goods. Currently, container transport has become the most important mode of transport in international trade and the new window for the development of foreign economic relations and trade. Our country’s container port development started late. But after a rapid development in recent years, our country has formed a group of very competitive ports which has become an important force to promote economic development.This paper takes container port as research object and makes detail analysis from several aspects. In the first part, this paper introduces the research background and significance of the article, and then reviews related research results at home and abroad. In the second part, this paper introduces the development process, present situation, characteristics and trends of domestic and international container ports. In the third and fourth part, it in-depth analysis the factors and departments affecting the development of container ports. In the fifth part, this paper introduces how container port M deals with competition with other ports. At last, by using the experience of foreign container ports and in accordance with the situation of our country’s container ports, this paper put forward some suggestions for the development of our country’s container ports.
