Research On Risk Management Of Multinational Operation Of China’s Petroleum Enterprises

Oil as an important kind of chemical raw materials and energy supplies, relates to theworld economy. With the development of world economy, particularly the increasingconsumption of the automobile, the contradiction between supply and demand of oil isbecoming more and more serious. So petroleum enterprises implement multinationaloperation, and vigorously expand the channels of obtaining the oil and gas resource, hasbecome the inevitable choice to guarantee the security of our oil supply. Along with the scaleof the overseas investment grow gradually, petroleum enterprises of our country face a varietyof risks in the process of the multinational business which are increasing constantly. This willaffect the implementation process of multinational operation project and the economicinterests of the petroleum enterprises seriously. So the research on risk management ofmultinational operation of China’s petroleum enterprises is no time to delay.The paper which is based on the systematic research on the related theory of the riskmanagement of multinational operation of petroleum enterprises, analyzed the necessity ofmultinational operation, reviewed the development course of multinational operation ofChina’s petroleum enterprises that from the exploration, stable growth to the expansion phase,and elaborated the present situation of multinational operation of China’s petroleumenterprises, that overseas investment is huge, rapid growth of oil and gas production overseas,overseas deals of oil and gas are active. And then the paper systematically analyzed the risk ofmultinational operation of China’s petroleum enterprises from the three levels that the macro,medium and micro, and finally established the evaluation index system of the multinationaloperation’ risk of China’s petroleum enterprises, which contains14indexes. According to thefeatures of the multinational operation of China’s petroleum enterprises, the paperscientifically evaluated the risk of the multinational operation of China’s petroleumenterprises choosing the objective evaluation method, BP artificial neural network. Finally, inallusion to the risk in different levels of the multinational operation of China’s petroleumenterprises, the paper proposed the measures to prevent the risk that strengthen the riskassessment to the political environment of the host, construct the international and domesticstrategic alliances, pay attention to the talents’ training and so on.
