Analysis Of The Economic Problems And Solutions Of Zaozhuang

Zaozhuang which has a long history and splendid culture is located in the south of Shandong province, at the junction of Jiangsu and Shandong Province. There are also many famous people who had lived in Zaozhuang, for instance, Meng Changchun, Epaulet, Kuang Heng, and so on. At the same time, Zaozhuang is a famous Anti-Japanese base, where Taierzhuang War and Railway Guerilla took place. In1960, the Yi County was renamed Zaozhuang as a county-level city. Then, Zaozhuang was upgraded to municipality, and was orientated as Coal base. Zaozhuang has made significant contribution to our country’s industrialization construction, since the foundation of China. With the consumption of resource, economic development of Zaozhuang has also encountered a bottleneck, for its economic structure is simple and the city’s development is based on the coal resource exploitation and processing. After China’s joining the WTO, many cities have developed very fast. Although the development of Zaozhuang economy has greatly improved, the speed is relatively slow. Among the seventeen cities of Shandong province, economy of Zaozhuang is relatively backward, and the development aftereffect is insufficient. Recently it is urgent to change the development mode and to transform the economic inferiority for Zaozhuang.The article analyzed the current situation of Zaozhuang economics, explored the probable problems and tried to give some targeted suggestions by analyzing and processing the economy data of Zaozhuang.The paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is introduction. It mainly elaborated the research background, significance, the main structure of the paper, and the research methods. The second chapter gives a general introduction of the situation about Zaozhuang, including its location, Natural conditions, history and culture. The third chapter is about the current situation of the economics of Zaozhuang. It mainly analyzed the current situation of Zaozhuang industry development and level, compared the economics among Zaozhuang and other cities of Shandong province, and analyzed the development status of Zaozhuang among cities of the southeast Shandong province. The fourth chapter tried to find out the existing problem of the economic development in Zaozhuang, and then explored the deep-seated reasons. The fifth chapter put forward reasonable scheme to solve the problems of Zaozhuang economic development, and tried to explore the feasible ways for Zaozhuang to come out of the current economic downturn.
