The Direct Estimation result is defined as the surplus towhom agriculture can’t provide more employment opportunities, when these men leave theDepartment of Agriculture, other famers will lengthen working hours to keep total output.Similarly, the Function Estimation result is defined as the surplus that led by urbanizationprogress, they are the difference between total rural labor force and labor demand in a balancecondition.
