With the rapid increasing of China’s car production and sales in recent years, China hasbecome the world’s biggest car market, which triggered more global investors joining in thisindustry. More and more investors enlarge the scale of the investment in the distributionchannels, which broke the original auto market. The competition leads the collectivization ofthe auto industry and this situation will makes the original car distribution enterprise facemore difficulties and challenges. Enterprises should learn how to deal with the outsideenvironment and enhance its own core competitive ability. It is very important for enterprisesto formulate and implement the enterprise strategy. Besides, enterprises should consolidateand enhance the competitive position continuously and achieve the goal of sustainabledevelopment in the fierce competition.Based on the HT Automobile Group in Foshan an Shunde. This paper has analyzed thepolitical economy situation; automobile sales and service industries; HT Group’s developmenthistory, management ability and market position etc in detail after summarized the strategicmanagement theory relevantly. Also HT Group’s external macroscopic environment andinternal microcosmic environment are analyzed in detail and then find out the externalopportunities and threats, the internal advantages and weaknesses using the SWOT model.Finally, according to the internal and external environment, a development strategy isformulated for the HT Group. The whole idea of strategy is leading innovation strategy,development strategy; differentiate competitive strategy, comprehensive and developmentalliance strategy. Through these integrated development strategy to establish the HT Group’sregional advantages and core competitive advantages of the high-end services. Finally, thispaper put forward the guarantee measures from five aspects to make sure the strategy’simplementation.HT Group is a representative company of the private car distribution group in themedium-sized city. Studying HT Group’s development strategy has constructive meaning forstudying the development of car distribution in the middle-sized city.
