Self-service tour has been rapidly developed in Domestic tourism,people hope that they can heart to experience the natural,environmental, life and even life through their own travel process..Inother words, People more and more Pay great attention ideal conditionof travel and obtain the joyful feeling in the mental through travel. SoSelf-service tour has been respected by tourists, while at the same timetraveling security accidents are reported to self-service tour frequentlyfollowing with highly Praise, therefore research has both theoretical andpractical significance for the travel behavior of this crowd. Based on thisbackground, this article takes the behavior of tourists as object of study,systematic analysis of the Present situation and traveling characteristicof Self-service tour population, decision-making behavior, spatialbehavior, and safety behavior.This article takes the behavior of tourists as object of study, and Onthe basis of research results at home and abroad, take questionnairesand face to face interview as method, using the SPSS statistical softwareand excel software to analysis524questionnaires which combined withresult of questionnaires and contents of interview, it analysis thedecision-making behavior characteristic spatial behavior characteristic,and safety behavior characteristic.This paper is divided into five parts. The first one is preface, whichdescribes the background, significance, purpose, contents, theoreticaland methods. Part two analyzes the research progress of Self-servicetour at home and abroad and the research range of tourist behavior.Part three analyzes the Present situation and traveling characteristic ofSelf-service tour population of shanghai, according to thequestionnaires, it analyzes the Demographic characteristics of shanghai.Part four analyzes the decision-making behavior, mainly focuson analysis of using factor method. Part five analyzes the spatialbehavior, mainly through the method of spatial method and GIS toanalyze the destination choose and space radiation of Self-service tourpopulation in shanghai. Part six analyzes safety behavior of shanghaiSelf-service tour, which summaries the condition of present about safetybehavior. Part five is the conclusion and discusses research respects ofSelf-service tour in the future.This paper not only summarizes the overall characteristics ofSelf-service tour, but also focuses on the behavior of Self-service tourwith many aspects of microcosmic. Filling the gap of in-depth study oncontents. So, the author hopes that this paper could be a complementof the study of Self-service tour, and be instructive about the explorationSelf-service tour tourism market in China.
