Study On The Social Impact Assessment Of NPP Projects

Along with continuous economic and social development of our country, theenergy demand becomes increasingly vigorous, and environmental pollution problemsthat follows also become more and more serious. As a kind of green energy resource,nuclear power will play more and more important role in promoting harmonious andcontinuous development of economy and society. Nowadays, it mainly developseconomic evaluation, technology security evaluation and environmental impactassessment when our country develops the nclear power plant(NPP） projectsevaluation.The studies on the social impact evaluation of NPP projects are at apremature stage. From the aspects of stakeholder theory, this paper makes systematicanalysis on the social impact evaluation of NPP projects, the main contentsare asfollows:Firstly, this dissertation introduced the research background and research meanings;Then it summarized the relevant research achievements indoors and abroad andbrought up research methods and technique route and main research contents in thelight of research present situation.Secondly, this paper gives the definitions and characteristics of the social impactevaluation of NPP projects. And it puts out the characters, the effects, the types, thebasic principles, the fundamental steps and the methods of social impact evaluation ofNPP projects.Thirdly, this paper gives the definitions of the groups of core stakeholders in theNPP projects from the aspect of stakeholder theory，and analyzes their interestrequirements. Based on that, it built the index system that is suitable for the socialimpact evaluation of NPP projects.Fourthly, in the light of advantages and disadvantages of Delphi, AHP, and FCA,this paper brought up a scientific and practical integrated evaluation model--Delphi-IAHP-FCA model.It will provide a new methods and thought for the practice of social impact evaluation of NPP projects.Finally, this paper made a demonstration research taking the Longmen powerstation projects in Hunan Zhuzhou. Moreover, in the light of existing problems in thesocial impact evaluation of NPP projects, this paper addressed relevant policysuggestions.
