With the implementation of the going global strategy, China’s outward foreign direct investment has been developing rapidly, and its scale has been expanding unceasingly, which gradually comes to the stage of equaling with the introduction of foreign capital. At present, China’s large enterprises have established branches overseas through new construction, mergers and acquisitions and other means, whose foreign direct investment increases in large scale, and gradually become the international companies with large influence on the world market. At the same time, part of the small and medium-sized enterprises also develop foreign direct investment gradually, and have taken the first step of operating multinational business. But while China’s multinational companies are developing international market, they are also faced with new challenges and responsibilities. Particularly in the integration process of global economy, the internationalization of production investment and the degree of market opening is further speeding up, the company society responsibility has been increasing focused. The main goal of Implementing the company society responsibility is to cultivate more enterprises with international competitiveness advantage and reach the harmonious development of economy, environment and social, but at present, some Chinese enterprises do not perform corporate social responsibility, due to lacking of the sense of corporate social responsibility, and no perfect governmental constraints and other reasons, which is harmful for raising their international competitiveness. Therefore, further analysis and discussion of the effects of CSR on the international competitiveness of China’s multinational companies, can base the theoretical foundation of the multinational companies implementing CSR by self-discipline and provide the relevant policy suggestions for carrying out CSR during the process of internationalization, which is beneficial for accelerating the development of the internationalization of China’s multinationals, and promoting China’s multinationals to cultivate and improve the international competitiveness and realize the goal of the "going-out "strategy.The purpose of this paper studies the influence of CSR on the international competitiveness of Chinese multinationals and the methods of implementing CSR in order to cultivate and improve the international competitiveness of Chinese multinationals during the international operation, through the CSR reputation mechanism, the game analysis of reputation model and the empirical test using micro-data of Chinese multinationals. This study mainly adopts the research method of combining theoretical and empirical analysis, the dynamic game analysis of incomplete information, and the dynamic panel-data model of GMM.On the basis of the theoretical and empirical analysis, this paper reaches the following research conclusion:the performance of CSR benefits for promoting the international competitiveness of multinational companies, from the perspective of the influence of CSR on the international competitiveness of multinational companies, CSR makes negative effects on the international competitiveness of transnational corporations in the short term, but in the long term there is positive influence of CSR on the international competitiveness of transnational corporations; from the perspective of the mutual action between CSR and innovation ability, the innovation ability of corporation social responsibility has negative effects on the international competitiveness of multinational companies in the short term, while it has significant positive effects in the long term.This paper includes six parts, and the basic structure and main contents are as the following:the first part is the introduction; the second one is the related research literature review; the third one is theoretical model of the effects of CSR on the international competitiveness of the multinational corporations; the fourth one is the empirical analysis of the influence of CSR on the international competitiveness of the multinational corporations; the fifth one is the case analysis about the influence of CSR on the international competitiveness of China’s MNCs; the sixth one is policy suggestions, putting forward the relevant suggestions of fostering and improving the international competitiveness of Chinese multinational companies by performing CSR from the perspective of the government and multinational companies level of CSR strategy implementation were put forward in order to related Suggestions.Compared with the existing research literature, this paper has done exploratory research in the following several aspects:firstly, in the respect of research angle, analyze the problem of cultivating the international competitiveness of Chinese multinational corporations from the view of the influence of CSR on the international competitiveness of Chinese multinational corporations, and clarify the mutual relation between CSR and the international competitiveness of multinational corporations, and therefore combine both organically; secondly, in the respect of theoretical model, based on the reputation model, analyze the relation between CSR and the international competitiveness of multinational corporations maki’ng use of the incomplete information dynamic game analysis method, which can provide the theoretical basis for Chinese multinationals to implement CSR in order to improve their international competitiveness; Thirdly, in the respect of empirical method make use of the dynamic panel-data model of GMM, which is suitable for the short panel data with small time dimension and large cross-section dimension, and test the influence of CSR on the international competitiveness of Chinese multinational corporations in the short and long term by econometric model.
