Since the 90’s of the last century, the corporate social responsibility caused widespread concern, the Multinational Corporations as a carrier of the globalization process, shouldering the important role of social responsibility advocate and pioneer. The rapid development of China’s rich natural resources, society and economy, attracting a growing number of the Multinational Corporations in China, at the same time, but also to promote the process of China’s industrialization. However, it is often seen, the Multinational Corporations in China the social responsibility of the weakening phenomenon caused various social problems. Along with our country’s progress of social civilization and self-consciousness of consumers, gradually increase the attention of Multinational Corporations’ social responsibility in China. Based on this, this article mainly carries on the analysis to the Multinational Corporations to fulfill corporate social responsibility in China’s motives, and thus put forward the corresponding countermeasures to improve the performance of corporate social responsibility of Multinational Corporations in China.This thesis is divided into four levels of the Motivation of Multinational Corporations’Corporate Social Responsibility in China, respectively for the economic, political, social, ethical and moral level, including improving enterprise economic benefits, expanding market share, improving employee satisfaction, attracting high-quality talent, shaping a good image of enterprises, improving customer loyalty, keeping international rules, responding the government’s call, accessing to government’s resources, seeking policy support, improving the environment quality, realizing sustainable development, maintaining market specifications, observing social ethics, keen on public welfare undertakings, sympathy for the weak.This paper will be the motivation of social responsibility of Multi-National Corporation in China, respectively, the motivation is divided into four levels, respectively, the economic level, the political level, the social level, the ethical and moral level. Including raising the economic benefit of enterprise, expand market share, enhance management effectiveness, shaping a good corporate image, improve customer loyalty, comply with international standards, in response to the call of the government, access to government resources, seeking the support of the policy, improve the quality of the environment and achieve sustainable development, maintain market norms, comply with social ethics, keen to public welfare undertakings, sympathy for the disadvantaged groups.This paper on 96 multinational corporations in China is questionnaire, and empirical analysis of valid questionnaires, through single factor variance analysis method to process the data statistics, and get the following conclusions:first, the economic motivation is the main motivation of social responsibility of transnational corporations; the second is at the different stages of growth in China, multinational corporations social responsibility motivation have significant differences, at the economic level, start-up period of the strongest motivation; on political and social level, growth stage had the strongest incentives; in the ethical and moral level, maturity motives are the strongest. Based on the above analysis, this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of improving the social responsibility of the Multi-National Corporation in China.
