Since China’s accession to the WTO, dealers in the agricultural market have played the marketing warfare just like any other industry. Can say, the chemical fertilizer industry has entered the spring and Autumn Period of marketing warfare. Along with changes of the chemical fertilizer market environment, farmers’consumption idea, buying habits and the influx of world fertilizer tycoons, chemical fertilizer enterprises must probe their living and developing surroundings and plan their competitive strategies during the warfare. In the marketing of compound fertilizer products, it is meeting with big pressure due to the constant increase of fertilizer product prices. Therefore, they are all adjusting their marketing strategies from production enterprises to dealers.Based on the large state-owned chemical enterprises---Shandong LX chemical group, the internal and external environment and its major competitors of LX are studied using the analysis tools like PEST, SWOT, and Porter5force analysis mode. According to the study, its clear competitive strategy is established which means to adhere to the low cost strategy and brand strategy for the assistance, expecting to remain invincible in the fierce battle.The study of LX chemical group competition strategy can also contribute to other enterprises in the new era to fully understand their own competitive environment and their competitive advantages.Thus, they can make their own competitive strategies adapting to the new competition era and achieve their own marketing goals finally.
