As a large tourist complex, Shanghai Disneyland have a symbolic significanceboth in introducing foreign capital and in further opening industry areas. Now mostinternational multinational companies have set up branch offices in China, but thesemultinational companies mainly concentrated in the area of manufacturing,commercial and financial services. From the angle of the industrial chain, China stilllacks the overall shift multinational company, especially cultural entertainmentindustry have not formed industrial influence. So, on the one hand ShanghaiDisneyland Project imply that multinational companies are optimizing their industrialstructure in china, on the other hand it means that China’s location advantage inintroducing international capital is growing. This paper mainly analyzes thedifferences of Disneyland projects in different countries from the perspective oflocation advantage and capital operation. This analysis will have importantsignificance to Shanghai Disneyland project both in theory and practice.In the theory of international investment, location advantage involves economic,legal, social&cultural and natural endowment etc comprehensive factors. At presentthe overseas Disney Theme Park mainly concentrated in developed economic regions(or with rapid and stable economic growth) and countries and regions with relativelyperfect legal system. The differences between these different projects mainlyconcentrated in social and cultural factors. So this paper mainly focuses on culturalvalues and cultural identities. Chapter3shows that both the two factors haveimportant influences to Disneyland project management. The general theory believesthat the smaller of cultural difference degree, the higher of cultural identities.However, paper studies showed that these two factors don’t exist necessaryconnection. In the comparison research between France, Japan and Hong Kong, localresidents’ identities to American culture reflect in the following factors: tourist flow,the tourists’ source constitution and repeat frequency.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes its differences of investment ways andproject capital composition in different countries and regions. Then, it made a furthercomparison research between France, Japan and Hong Kong from the perspective ofmeans of contributing investment and equity structure to discuss Disney’s riskmanagement idea and management mode. The cooperation process of international investment project is a configuration process of the risks and benefits at the same time.So this kind of study will have a significant meaning to Shanghai Disneyland project.
