The major production areas play an important role, therefore, accurately measures these location advantages for the government and the layout of agricultural investment decision providing some significant support.This study based on the concept and related theory of agricultural location, analyses the forming process of agricultural location advantages and the transformation mechanism of agricultural location advantages and disadvantages, summarizes the effect factors of the agricultural location, and reviews the research methods of the agricultural location advantages.Then builds the measurement model of location advantage, enrichs and perfects the agricultural location advantage and regional development research methods, scientific evaluates the wheat location advantage changes of each major grain-producing area, and separately analyses the historical dynamic changes of Henan province wheat location advantage, and put forward some suggestions. The paper believes that countries should intensify the wheat grain policy inclination force, promote wheat productivity and market competitiveness, and accelerate the collaborative relationship of main wheat consumption and the main wheat production areas, set up wheat producers'benefits compensation mechanism; continuous increase of Henan province wheat industry support, increasing financial and investment in science and technology, strengthen the wheat industrialization development force, promote the market competitive power, and make good production and circulation environment for Henan province's wheat industry.
