China and Vietnam are friendly and closely neighbors. As the political relation between China and Vietnam develops, the economic development between two countries is increased accordingly. The trade cooperation between Vietnam and China has been based on the16-gold-words policy "Long-term stability, future orientation, good neighborliness, comprehensive cooperation". Therefore, continue to address the trade relations between the two countries is always a significant issue.This paper use recent years’trade value data between Vietnam and China to analyze two sides’trade development situation. The result indicates that the trade value between two countries has greatly increased; the number of import and export goods categories has constantly increased; investment and trade volume have been expanding. Vietnam and China have maintained a good momentum of development, showing their great potential of bilateral economic and trade cooperationThis paper bases on the context of regional economic integration to introduce the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA); to analyze the "early harvest" plan of CAFTA framework and its impact on Vietnam-China import and export; to analyze the impact of Vietnam-China "Two corridors one circle" policy on two countries border trade. The "early harvest" plan and Vietnam-China "Two corridors One circle" policy are beneficial to Vietnam cargo transport, trade and tourism development which not only create a favorable economic environment, but also to expand regional economic development in southern, western area of China, and northern, middle area of VietnamChina-ASEAN Free Trade Area promotes the Vietnam-China trade cooperation, but there exist a lot of problems in goods structure, investment liberalization system and policy, enterprise management level, product competitiveness etc. Vietnam and China governments should pay attention on border trade management to improve both two sides’service system and supervision system, to increase the anti-smuggling efforts that make border trade healthy development also take advantage of two countries border trade potential. Vietnamese enterprises thus should continuously improve management, enhance product competitiveness, strengthen industrial restructuring, and give full play to their own comparative advantage.
