Research On The Contents And Countermeasures Of Corporate Credit Management

Modern economy is the credit economy. Credit situation has a significant impacton the market economy. Since the economy transition, the fragile credit institution hashad bad influence on the development of China’s economy. The global financial crisismakes enterprises in China are facing further deterioration in the credit risk. So,enterprises should pay more attention to the credit risk management. The paperfocuses on corporate credit management to provide enterprises with helpful advice.The research on credit risk management in our country started lately. This papermakes research on the corporate credit risk management from the perspective ofglobal economic integration and specialization. Firstly, the contents of enterprisecredit risk management are analyzed, including the connotation and characteristics ofcorporate credit risk, management objectives and procedures. Secondly, the papermakes a survey about the situation of the corporate credit risk management, which isanalyzed from the internal and external causes. And then, the countermeasures ofimproving credit risk management are proposed. Thirdly, on the basis of the analysis,the models of corporate credit risk management are proposed, including internal creditrisk management models and third-party credit risk management models. Thecorporate should select the appropriate credit risk management models by its size,market scope, transaction type, etc. In the same time, because credit insurance has thebenefits of both internal credit risk management models and third-party credit riskmanagement models, it should be the first choice of the enterprises, especially exportenterprises.Although the credit risk management model and case study focus oninternational trade, they are still available for domestic trade. In view of the immaturecredit system in our country, the domestic trade credit risk should not be ignored.
