Recent years, China’s construction industries have had a high-speed development in which the methodical carried-out of engineering project depends on comprehensive and effective management. At the beginning awareness of risk management was lagging behind, but gradually risk management has become an indispensable part of project management, which is also included in the project management composition now. With the Continuous innovation, research and application in the field of project risk management by domestic and foreign scholars, risk management has formed a basic system, including risk identification, analysis, evaluation, assessment, response and monitoring. Based on these risk management processes, this thesis is designated to conduct a control analysis of Le Chang Valley Hydro-junction project, selecting appropriate methods of identification in order to identify risk factors from the point of the causes of project risk. Then the main risk factors listed are to be discussed. In the stage of risk analysis, this thesis is expected to use hierarchy analysis method to determine the relationship between the important risk factors, and then combine it with the mathematical model of risk assessment based on information entropy theory, in order to estimate the degree of risk by integrated weighting factor. The thesis applies qualitative and quantitative analysis approach in risk analysis, determining the degree of risk by establishing an integrated weighting factor based on the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis approach. By doing this, defects of the use of a single method could be skillfully avoided and the relationship between the risk factors could be taken into reasonable account, which prevents the omission of risk factors leading to other risk sources, so as to make the analysis more reliable. Targeted measures are to be taken for risk control and prevention, and thus resources could be made full use of, risk cost could be reduced, the benefits maximized.
