With the development of the economics, demand is not affected by price only, but related to lead time and personalization. People will be reluctant to wait and may not afford much money to the kinds of products with long lead time. In addition, more and more people choose product according to whether its function meet their special need. So what kinds of effect will time and personalization have on demand and net profit. So in order to improve the competitive capability and increase the revenue for supply chain firms, it makes important theoretical value and actual significance to study the decision of delivery and coordination from the aspect of shortening delivery time. This thesis studies the effects of lead time selection and personalization by modeling and numerical analysis.Firstly, based on the previous model for time and price sensitive demand with substitutable market, a new model is developed by considering the relationship between price and lead time additionally. In the new model, both demand and net profit are determined by lead time only. This thesis set a new decision valuable named "fulfill degree of personality" and a model for price, lead time and functions sensitive demand is developed. And optimal decisions and characteristics of the function of net profit and lead time are gained. This thesis also analyzes the effects of lead time selection through a numerical example, which is used to make a comparison with the result when price and lead time are independent decision variables.Secondly, this thesis set a new decision valuable named "fulfill degree of personality" and a model for price, lead time and functions sensitive demand is developed. Optimal decision is analyzed. And a proposition is proved that in special condition, we can get more profit if the basic type of product we choose to supply can match people’s personality much better. Finally, the techniques to shorten the impact of delivery time compression were discussed, based on which two decision models oriented to shorten delivery time were built from different aspect. At first a premium-based model of lead time-contingent pricing was introduced with defining different estimated probabilities of requirement for lead time between customers and supply chain firms. It was under the assumption of time-sensitive demand with the objection of maximizing the expected profit. In the following the existence of the optimal solution was analyzed and the optimal decision-making strategies were advanced. The second model was based on a supply chain consists of a supplier and a retailer. After the introduction of decision model in which retailer takes charge of the delivery decision and delivery time crashing cost, a new model in which retailer decides order quantity after supplier declares delivery time and delivery time crashing cost are sharing in certain proportion by both of them was built to optimize the ordering cost in unit time. And then, the optimal decisions in two models has been analyzed and compared through analytical method and numerical example.
