Crossover Study Of Regional Tourism Cooperation

With the development of the tourism industry being mature and tourism market being expanding, China tourism enters into the age of regional tourism and tourist areas and spots competition, often leading to malignant competition. In order to ensure the healthy and rapid development of tourism, it has been an important way for the world tourism development that the regional tourism cooperation promotes tourism economy development, especially for the intergrowth tourism resource. The cross administrative boundary of the regional tourism cooperation is the inevitable trend of Chinese Tourism industry development. However, a single choice of cooperation or competition cannot guarantee the sustainable tourism development, but "competition in cooperation and cooperation for competition", which is the inevitable result of tourism development, can guarantee tourism sustainable development.For the regional tourism cooperation, due to the effect of administrative division, domestic scholars’research is limited in the same administrative area for tourism cooperation; furthermore the case study of tourism cooperation focuses on developed area, which concentrates on large range and ignores middle and small range, such as Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta.The study of regional tourism is less, from the perspective of across administrative boundaries, small range and tourism resource belonging to the same natural regional cooperation. From this perspective, the article tries to set out Linzhou Canyon and Huguan Canyon of similar types of tourism resources as a case study.Based on the field work of Linzhou Canyon and Huguan Canyon, according to the tourism resource general situation and current situation of the two tourist destination, the paper discusses the existing problems of them by literature review, questionnaire, and interview method and so on. Furthermore, countermeasures are proposed to strengthen cooperation between them. This whole thesis is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction, describes the background of regional tourism cooperation and Literature review at home and abroad, puts forward the study purpose, meaning and technical route; The second part is to build up the theoretic system of regional tourism cooperation, focusing on the basic concepts and related theories in the application of the regional tourism cooperation, mainly related to Game Theory, Sustainable Development Theory, System Theory and Competitive Advantage Theory; The third part introduces natural environment, tourism resources and economic development of the researching regional county; The fourth part introduces two tourism resources development present situation, and obtains evaluation of tourism resources from tourists by field work and questionnaire, summing up five problems, such as tourism image conflict, strong tourism product resistance and similar tourist source; According to premise condition of the cross regional tourism cooperation, necessity and the exciting problems of two tourism destinations, the fifth part promotes cooperative strategies such as tourism image superposition, different products development, cooperative marketing;establishes cooperative organization and constructs cooperative mechanism to achieve regional tourism cooperation success; The sixth part sums up research process and strategies, and promotes the research deficiencies. Proposed countermeasures in the paper are meaningful to strengthen cooperation between Linzhou Canyon and Huguan Canyon and order their competition.
